CONGRESS MEMBERS WHO ARE PART OF PANELS SUBMITTED WITHIN THE EXTENDED PROPOSAL SUBMISSION PERIOD (until February 5, 2024) will be entitled to a 10% discount on the corresponding fee.

The Technical Secretariat of the 10th Conference will manage this discount with the panel coordinators and panelists.

  •  When using the STUDENT / RETIREMENT / UNEMPLOYED registration fee, or if you are an ASAEE ASSOCIATION MEMBER, APA or ABA, you must show proof of membership. Below you can review the documentation that must be provided to show proof of membership. Please upload the PDF document in your Conference personal Area > Conferences> Documentation.

  • The STUDENT fee can only be provided to a maximum of 300 students. Student fees are provided on a first come, first serve basis. After the initial 300 student registrations, the professional fee will be applied to all students registering for the conference.

  • All registrations received from MARCH 11th (at 00: 00h Spain peninsular time) will automatically be charged a full fee, without exception.

IMPORTANT: Please select the reduced payment method only if you are sure you have the required supporting documentation. If you have any doubts about the fee to choose, you can contact us directly at Please note that if you choose a reduced fee and finally do not send the supporting documentation, you will not be registered in the Congress and, according to the rules of the Congress, you will lose the money you have paid.



Keep in mind that your annual membership must be up to date in order to benefit from this fee. You can consult the status of your membership or recover your password here (in Spanish). Proof of your AIBR membership will not be required for your registration.


This type of fee will include conference registration and basic AIBR membership for one year. Basic membership will provide you with the advantages and possibilities that all our members enjoy, excluding the delivery of AIBR’s journal: AIBR, Revista de Antropología Iberoamericana. We encourage students of anthropology to attend, audit, and or/present their work at the conference. During your registration, you will be required to submit a scanned certificate or student ID as proof of your student enrollment during the academic year 2023-2024. Screenshots of registration details will not be accepted as proof of student status. Doctoral researchers will be considered students and will be able to enjoy the reduced student fee.


Anyone who can prove their membership in an association part of ASAEE will be able to enjoy the same reduced conference fee as members of AIBR. Please attach a membership certificate up to date with payment issued by the Secretary of your Association. No other document will be accepted as proof of membership.


Anyone who can prove their membership in the APA or ABA will enjoy the same reduced conference rate as AIBR members. Please attach a membership certificate to the current payment issued by the Secretary of the Portuguese Anthropology Association or the Brazilian Anthropology Association, respectively. No other document will be accepted as proof of membership.


A reduced fee will be available for those unemployed or retired at the moment of registration. This fee will only be applicable upon submission of an official document stating their current employment status (see Submission Guidelines and FAQ).


Those with a post-doctoral contract at any University or research center are not considered as students and will need to pay the professional fee.

REMEMBER: If you have an ACCEPTED PROPOSAL and do not complete your registration before the indicated date, your proposal will be eliminated from the Program.

NOTE: Your registration will not be complete until all required documents have been submitted to the Organization, and the payment has been made. Once registered, if you need to cancel your registration, we will reimburse 60% of the fee paid. You will need to contact us before APRIL 14th, 2024 (included) for any cancellations to be considered. After this date, all fees are non-refundable.
